They are also highly wear resistant prolonging their use with the recommended care and maintenance. Complex complete dentures can be converted to implant dentures.

Acrylic Partial Dentures

Metal-less Partial Dentures

Also known as Valplast dentures and as Flexible Partials. Hypoallergenic and very aesthetically pleasing. These dentures use natural flex of the material to grip onto adjacent teeth without the need of metal. Their color matches seamlessly with the color of the gums creating a natural smile.

Acetal (tooth colored) Partial Dentures

Tooth colored frameworks are a great alternative to metal. They are esthetic, can be repaired and relined and are generally light. Also known as Valplast dentures and as Flexible Partials. Hypoallergenic and very aesthetically pleasing.  We match the color of the frame to the color of the teeth creating a natural smile.

Metal Partial Dentures

Also known as cast partial dentures use a metal frame with acrylic denture teeth that clips onto existing teeth for support. The metal clasps of the denture are often visible, but provide a tight fit that allows secure chewing.

Implant Dentures

Are dentures that are attached to anchors in the bone. There are various implant attachment types – bar, locator, fixed bridge; each of which is They are the most stable and functional option for replacing the natural teeth. Because implant dentures don’t put as much pressure on sensitive gums but rather translate most of the chewing force onto the bone – they are very comfortable to wear, secure and are universally loved by the wearer.

Denture Relines

Reline is a procedure done in the lab that renews the inside of the denture to fit more snugly to the gums of the wearer. Even with new dentures – overtime gums and bone of the jaw changes, but the denture does not. Reline procedure allows refitting of an existing denture to a more functional state. It is recommended to do a reline every 2 years or whenever the fit of the dentures becomes loose. There are two types of relines – hard and soft. Soft reline is recommended for lower jaw when gums are very sensitive or when the bone resorbed to the point of being flat.

Denture Repairs

When dentures are broken, chipped or a tooth needs to be added to a partial denture – denture repair will fix the problem. Depending on the extent of damage, and how much work will be needed the timing and the price of each repair differs.

Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures are made before the extraction of the natural teeth. They are inserted immediately after extractions to promote healing. As the gums heal and remodel, immediate dentures are adjusted and modified accordingly until a full period of healing is complete and either a reline is done or a new set of dentures is created.
